Hello,
a bit about me:

I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Criminology, Law, and Society at George Mason University. My research interests include imprisonment and reintegration experiences, gender-based and interpersonal violence and victimization, and implementing interventions to improve the lives of individuals with substance use and mental health disorders. I taught Crime Victims and Victimization and Community Corrections, as well as prepped Feminist Criminology for the department.

My position as a Research Associate in the School of Policy and Government has allowed me to conduct research at the Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence! (ACE!) under the direction of Drs. Faye S. Taxman and Danielle S. Rudes.

I approach my work as an intersectional feminist. I am always open and energized to collaborate on projects or papers, chat about graduate school, or simply grab a coffee.

In my free time, you will find me indoor rock climbing, doing hot yoga, or hiking with my partner and dog. I am also a volunteer mentor of women re-entering the DMV area from incarceration with Friends of Guest House.

Meet my work-from-home colleague, Brownie!
